How to use TrulyMatch

A simple, step-by-step guide to create your profile, upload photos, search & connect safely on TrulyMatch.

1. Create your profile

Sign up

Click Register on the top-right, enter your mobile/email and complete OTP verification. Choose a username and a strong password.

Profile details

Fill in personal details (name, DOB, religion, caste, education, occupation, city). The more accurate your details, the better matches we can suggest.

About yourself

Write a short, honest bio (2–4 lines). Mention what you’re looking for to attract relevant matches.

2. Upload photos

Go to Upload Photos. You can upload up to 4 photos. Use a recent, clear headshot as your profile photo.

  • Allowed formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP.
  • Max file size: check the upload page (we recommend keeping images under 4MB).
  • Your photos are reviewed by our team — approved photos show a green Approved badge.
Tip: Add at least one full-length and one close-up photo for better responses.

3. Search & filters

Use the Search bar or Advanced Filters to narrow down matches by age, religion, education, city and more.

Save searches

Logged-in users can save search criteria and get notified when matching profiles appear.

Profile previews

Click a profile to view details, photos and contact options. Profiles with verified phone/email are highlighted.

4. Contacting members

Interest / Message

Send an Interest or a short message. Keep your message polite, mention a mutual point (education, city, hobby) and your intent.

Response & chat

When a member accepts your interest, you can chat using the in-site messenger. Respect response times — not everyone checks messages frequently.

Contact details

Phone numbers or email addresses are shared only when allowed by the member or by subscription options. Do not ask for personal details in the first message.

5. Privacy & safety

Your safety is important. Follow these simple rules:

  • Do not share financial or sensitive personal documents with strangers.
  • Verify identities through video/voice calls before sharing contact details.
  • Report or block any member who behaves inappropriately — use the Report button on profiles and messages.
  • Use the privacy settings to control who can view your photos and contact you.

6. Premium & added benefits

Upgrading to TrulyMatch Premium can offer:

  • See who viewed your profile
  • Priority listing in search results
  • Access to contact details (where members have allowed)
  • Ad-free browsing

7. Frequently asked questions

Go to Upload Photos and upload a new image. You can also mark one image as your primary profile photo.

Open the profile, click Report, choose a reason and provide any evidence. Our moderation team will review and take action.

You can upload up to 4 photos. Photos are reviewed and may take some time to be approved.

Messages are stored in your Messages section. If you suspect a problem, logout, clear cache and login again. If the issue persists contact support.
